Who are we? Why are we here? In their various forms these questions are asked by us and to us throughout our life. They carry such weight and importance.

This fall during our Vision Series we will revisit our mission and vision as a community and with those as our guide we will talk about how we act upon them in real ways together.

We are excited about what God is doing in and through this community. Not just on Sunday mornings or around the table during the week, but on every street and in every heart of this beautiful city.

If we are going to live out our vision well, it will take intention. During the next several weeks, we invite you and our church to thoughtfully engage with our vision and what it means to partner together to see it happen through something we call Vision Builders.

Vision Builders are those who commit to giving regularly and sacrificially to see the vision come to pass. You'll find ways to do this below.

how we do it...

Below you'll find our four key initiatives over the next three years as we move forward in our vision and mission plus ways that you can be a part of seeing it happen in Fort Worth like never before!

Our hope is that we all would pray, serve, and give to accomplish the mission + vision of our community!

Between now and December 3rd, 2023 we will ask everyone to pray about giving financially toward our future together. This is something we commit to every 12 months as a community. It is what it means to be a Vision Builder at C3.

Current Standing

There are two primary pieces to our current financial commitment as a community.

ONE

As of now we are operating at a monthly deficit. The primary reason is that our budget grew while the building process was delayed. Meaning our projections could not match pace of construction. Our church has been faithful and what we are asking now is for people to commit to regular giving and one-time gifts that allow us to ‘catch-up’. We know that if we had 10 more givers at our monthly average we would be operating with margin.

TWO

Through one-time and/or regular giving that is above and beyond regular tithing we would be able to put an extra $50k toward finishing out our building. We had an initial loan of $200,000 and then an additional $40,000 raised last year. Our construction costs are exceeding that total. We would be able to do all that we hoped and dreamed with an additional $50,000 which we hope to raise both through our local communities giving but also through ‘Friends of C3’ which you can share with family and friends.

vision + Mission

We exist to make disciples who fix their eyes on Jesus, are formed in community, and live out their calling until our city sees Jesus like never before.

Local + Global Missions

There are wonderful and amazing people and organizations who are serving this city in powerful and creative ways. We are in this together and will commit to being a neighbor who supports the work of our friends. We also aim to support those making a global difference.

teams and tables

Community is a word that means service, hospitality, love, and unity. We want to see our teams and tables grow substantially over the next 12 months so that we can welcome as many people as possible into a authentic community.

Tables

Currently we have eleven tables in and around Fort Worth averaging roughly 70 people in attendance every week. Our aim is to have 75% of our church regularly at a Table.

Teams

There are over 70+ people serving on a team in our church from hospitality to worship to welcome to creative and so on. We are hopeful that as we disciple people and develop teams we can see that number continue to grow alongside our church.

2nd

avenue

We are called to live out our purpose together for each of us to play a part in our city seeing Jesus like never before. 2nd Avenue will be a place where people are given opportunities, equipped in their gift, and surrounded by others living their calling.

We are standing in a miracle and a model. It is truly special to be walking into this place and calling it home but it is equally special to say that this will someday serve as a model for others on how to expand the kingdom in cities around the country. We want to finish out, purchase, and replicate this space.
